Candi's Story

Candi Troia, six years into her battle with lung cancer, is going into her third round of radiation. This time it’s sBRT.  Her medical team believes she has a 95% chance of wiping out the rest of her stage 4 lung cancer with the sBRT radiation. The treatment will specifically target cells affected by lung cancer. In April, Candi attended the American Lung Association’s LUNG FORCE Expo in Washington, D.C., to talk to Congress about lung cancer. Candi first found the Lung Association by attending the LUNG FORCE Expo in 2015, and she has since enjoyed the opportunity connect with other fighting the lung cancer battle.
