Poor health is a major cause of poverty in Nebraska and across the United States. CHAD partners with United Way of the Midlands to help raise funds that help prevent, cure and improve outcomes for disease to reduce this major cause of poverty.  This partnership helps fund the critical missions of CHAD’s 21 health charities that affect so many Nebraskans. CHAD’s member charities also work in collaboration with many of the United Way of the Midlands funded programs to provide support as necessary. Dollars that fund research for cures and provide education on prevention of chronic disease are desperately needed to reduce this major cause of poverty.
