About CHAD

CHAD (Combined Health Agencies Drive) is a local, donor-designation driven organization that has been been raising funds for Nebraska’s premier health charities since 1972. Valuable donations help Nebraskans in need by providing care and support for those affected by a health diagnosis; funding education and prevention programs in our communities; and supporting advocacy and medical research. Donors who give during our annual statewide campaign ensure our 21 member charities are funded on a consistent basis, and 100% of donor-designated dollars go directly to full-member charities.

Stories of Caring

A health diagnosis doesn’t discriminate based on zip code. Every day, Nebraskans across the state are affected by chronic disease, disabilities and end-of-life issues. When facing a diagnosis that upends their entire lives, people need care and support from their local communities.Read the stories of some real people from all across the state who have received priceless support from one of our member charities.

Where We Serve

CHAD's partnership with the United Way of the Midlands combines our strengths and contacts to present one unified campaign. This includes Douglas and Sarpy counties in Nebraska, Pottawattamie County in Iowa.

CHAD and the 21 member health charities we represent participate as full campaign partners in the United Way/CHAD Campaign in workplaces throughout Lincoln and Lancaster County. The United Way Impact Fund helps families achieve stability.

Greater Nebraska

CHAD continues to grow in designations, visibility and credibility in Greater Nebraska. We are here to offer employees the choice to give to health causes that are most important to them, as health affects us all.
